A gallery-led ecommerce website for a painter of memory and place.

Daniel's website was an intuitive creation. A site for a painter whose work explores memory, nostalgia and the emotional pull of place, imagined Mediterranean gardens, pools and architectural spaces that sit somewhere between recollection and invention. It needed to speak to collectors buying original works and prints, and to the followers drawn to his exhibitions and new work, without ever getting in the way of the art itself.

The result? A calm, gallery-led ecommerce website with a warm, muted palette and generous space that lets each piece breathe. Original works, limited edition prints, notebooks and greetings cards all sit alongside commissions and an exhibitions mailing list. As ever, it runs on Squarespace and looks nothing like a template.
