A joyful, fully bespoke membership website for a worldschooling and home education hub.

Rumbo is the work of a Deal-based educator, traveller and home educating parent who wanted to build the thing she needed most when she stepped outside the school system: one welcoming place where worldschooling and home education families could find everything at once. The brief called for a brand-new look, and a personality unlike anything we'd created before. So we started from a blank page. We built a fresh visual identity from the ground up, a warm and playful colour palette, and typography chosen to match, then carried it across every corner of the site so the whole thing feels like Rumbo, not like a template.

Underneath the personality sits a properly functioning membership platform. Families can subscribe, log in and unlock a growing library of lesson packs and resources, with a bundle store, courses and directory built to follow as Rumbo grows. Rather than reaching for custom code at every turn, we leaned into what Squarespace does well, using its native features inventively to keep everything easy for the Rumbo team to manage on their own.

The result is a site that's beautiful and playful, and properly functional underneath, an online home that works as hard as it looks good. This was a real joy to work on.
